Working closely with stakeholders such as universities as well as government agencies like the Performance Management and Delivery Unit (Pemandu) of the Prime Minister’s Department and InvestKL, on growing the local talent pool. Has been training graduates and those relatively new to the industry via its Codemasters Accelerator Programme and other training initiatives. 95% of the people who have gone through the Program are all employed. Also looking into penetrating the e-sports segment.

Technology Hub

September 2016 - September 2021

Kuala Lumpur is MoneyLion's technology hub with a staff force of 30 leading data scientists and software engineers. Malaysia is seen as a financial hub in the region but financial literacy is still a challenge among consumers who lack access to next-generation personal finance tools. The rise of fintech in Kuala Lumpur is helping to change that environment and there is ripe opportunity for businesses like MoneyLion to introduce products and services that deliver personalized financial advice.

Asia Pacific COE

December 2018 - December 2023

The new center will leverage local talent to support the global finance teams on financial reporting, planning and analysis, and finance technology systems. The CoE in Kuala Lumpur is an exciting addition to Asia region. MetLife intends to tap in to the impressive talent pool and focus on delivering high-quality services to their business partners across Asia

Regional Hub for SEA

December 2018 - December 2023

Set up a regional e-fulfilment hub-cum-headquarters in Kuala Lumpur in 2017. With support from InvestKL, Zalora has grown the facilities into what is today its engine of growth in the region. The hub not only houses 70% of the group’s inventory but also its customer service, marketing, commercial purchasing, finance and human resources functions across all its eight markets in the region. Majority of its leaderships including key positions from Global Fashion Group are in Kuala Lumpur.
